Finally enjoy an authentic Roman meal at one or Rome’s best restaurants. Afterward your guide can point you in the direction of an entertaining art filled piazza like Piazza Barberini. or a nearby gelateria.

Your guide will take you to visit the Vatican Museums, filled with masterpieces by many of the world’s most esteemed Renaissance and Baroque artists, as well as works from ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt. Here, you will see Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel along with works by Botticelli, Perugino and Bernini. You will exit directly into the stunning interior of St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest Christian church in the world by interior measure..

The tour concludes at our Vatican office and official Vatican gift shop where you can spend some time browsing the gift shop.

Additional Information: Tours of the Basilica are not permitted on Wednesday mornings or when special papal ceremonies are taking place. In these cases your guide will take you to St. Peter’s square and explain it from the outside. Security check is mandatory for everyone entering Vatican City. Passport not required although ID proving age associated discounts must be presented.
